 Old Town Sacramento and
California State Railroad Museum

About five blocks of downtown Sacramento has been partitioned off to through traffic for the purpose of preserving the historic Gold Rush era buildings. Pedestrian traffic only allows for an unobstructed and close up view of the old town. Most of the shops are currently open to visitors and house gifts or food vendors. A visit would not be complete without riverboat dining aboard the historic Delta King.
